Mary Rocap: Home
Welcome to my website.
Lots of information here about my music, writing, and craft.
I'm back at the South Estes Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8-noon l'm bringing my bread, quilting & other handmade items, eggs, and CDs - a bit like the farmers wife bringing her wares to town.
I gave up one of my part-time jobs this winter so that I could have more time to quilt and bake.
I have been working with quilts a little bigger this winter - the basic nine-patch pattern in black and thai fabrics or batiks. The designs look like stain-glass windows.
Musically I am working with ensembles: The Women's Singing Circle, a group which meets for prayer and song at St. Matthew's; and, CityFolk, an acoustic version of my dear Mobile City friends: Lise Uyanik, Charlie Ebel, Lew Wardell, and Jay Miller. I am also working toward another CD: a winter-themed one adding to my cycle of Summer (Sweet Mimosa) and Autumn (Indian Summer)
So, come visit from time to time and see how I'm doing!
Take care in the meanwhile,
Mary
